Kelburn Farm

Kelburn Farm, located 18 kilometres south of Richardson International's head office in downtown Winnipeg, is our 500-acre research farm and crop development centre. Kelburn Farm is integral to our role as an industry leader and indicative of our strong belief that knowledge is key to the future of agriculture.

Through the ongoing support of our industry partners, Kelburn Farm puts the latest technologies and techniques to the test under real growing conditions. Conducting and evaluating field trials helps to demonstrate the effectiveness of seeding rates, tillage practices, new varieties and crop input products.

Kelburn Farm has evolved into a prominent education and training centre over the years. Every summer, Richardson International employees and customers assemble to learn about new products and innovative processes from industry specialists. Kelburn Farm has also become an outdoor classroom for the Manitoba Canola Growers Associations Canola Learning Centre, provincial schools and universities, which has helped thousand of urban children gain a better understanding of where their food comes from and how important agriculture is to the region.
